Junior Risk & Compliance Lawyer

We are working with a large international, multi-office law firm who are looking to recruit a Junior Risk & Compliance Lawyer.

This is a critical hire for the team as the firm will be entering a new stage of growth. You will be working alongside a fantastic Deputy General Counsel and the wider Risk Team providing advice on a range of issues, and mitigating risk across the business. This role will be very hands-on and requires someone with confidence and a can-do attitude.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Be a qualified lawyer and have experience dealing with regulatory issues ideally in an SRA and/or FCA regulated environment
• Have substantial knowledge and experience in Risk & Compliance, ideally in a legal setting
• Be experienced in working in a listed environment
• Demonstratable experience drafting and reviewing a range of contracts
• Experience in data protection and the ability to lead on data protection matters
• Have the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders

This role would be well suited to an NQ - 2yr PQE lawyer, with corporate or in-house experience.
