Head of Risk & Compliance

Are you a Law Firm Risk & Compliance expert looking to make a significant impact in a new role? We are excited to let you know about an exciting opportunity with a leading city Law Firm who are looking for a Data Protection SME who can head up their Risk & Compliance function.

As the Head of Compliance & DPO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulations and safeguarding data privacy within our dynamic environment. You'll lead a talented team and help shape the risk and compliance strategy across the firm.

Some of the duties and responsibilities Include:

• Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Providing expert guidance on regulatory issues and SRA Standards and Regulations.
• Leading GDPR compliance efforts and data protection initiatives.
• Conducting risk assessments and delivering comprehensive training programs.
• Acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies and managing data breach incidents.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Thorough knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations.
• Understanding of UK data protection laws and GDPR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
