Contracts Lawyer
An International Law Firm is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to support the wider risk & compliance team in London. This position focuses on the risks associated with the management of client terms processes and contract reviewals.
A key function of this role is to assist in the launch of a new client term platform. You will ensure it meets its specified requirements, aid in its optimisation and oversee any performance issues addressed by service providers.
Some Responsibilities:
- Liaise with firm-wide staff for a comprehensive overview of client terms
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure client terms are recorded accurately
- Offer guidance towards client negotiations
- Review client terms and assess potential risks
- Review documents (NDAs, secondment agreements, etc) from a risk perspective
- Draft client terms-related policies and procedures
- Provide input on projects relative to the client term’s data and platform
The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 5+ years of experience working in an international commercial law environment, primarily focusing on contract review. Equally, experience within a legal or regulatory environment would be beneficial to this position. Experience working within a data protection role is desirable but non-essential.
