We are working with a very unique legal business who are looking for an Auditor to join their Risk team. The purpose of this role is to assist with improving business operations and implementing a systematic approach to the effectiveness of their Risk Management and Governance processes.

You do not need to have prior experience as an Auditor to be considered for this role, but you will need to have an analytical mind and proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

  • Helping to identify and assessing risks to the business.
  • Working with the other auditor and manager to implement and deliver the full audit cycle ensuring compliance with internal policies/procedures and regulations.
  • Working with closely with the Risk and Audit Manager to develop and implement the annual audit plans
  • Analysing sources of data such as reports, call recording, paper and electronic files, raw data, flow charts etc.
  • Identifying areas of opportunity recommending risk aversion/mitigation measures and cost savings
  • Traveling to different offices on occasion to meet relevant staff and obtain documents and information.
  • Keeping up to date with changes to relevant legislation, regulations and best practices.
