A well-respected national law firm is hiring an Information Security Officer to join their team. This exciting role will involve conducting internal audits and assisting with supplier reviews and risk assessments.

The firm would love to hear from candidates with IT information security experience and ideally experience in ISO27001 audit and/or IT risk assessments.

This role can be performed in various locations, including Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Cardiff.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting Internal ISO27001 audits
  • Documenting non-conformities and opportunities for improvement and conducting meetings to ensure items are completed
  • Advising on solutions for information security improvements
  • Ensuring audits are conducted in a timely manner and risks are flagged
  • Conducting risk assessments and due diligence checks for suppliers and projects
  • Improving information security awareness throughout the firm by providing training
  • Monitoring and advising on changes in the firm’s risk landscape
  • Maintaining technical knowledge
  • Reviewing standard operating procedures
  • Adminstration of information security incidents and data breaches
