Senior Conflicts Lawyer

Our client is a top 100, international law firm seeking a Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join their team in Singapore and provide support across the firm’s network on conflicts of interest, policy and strategy.

This is a really exciting opportunity to work in a small, dedicated team resolving complex commercial and ethical conflict issues and business relationship issues, reporting to the General Counsel at a large global law firm. You’ll also have the chance to manage junior team members and work on wider risk projects with other departments.

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert on legal and commercial conflicts, advising on whether work can be taken on and what steps need to be taken before proceeding and working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to resolve conflicts. The role will also involve providing training on conflicts issues to staff, advising on lateral hire conflicts, drafting engagement terms letters, and maintaining conflicts policies.

To apply for this role, you must be a qualified lawyer preferably with conflicts experience gained at an international law firm. You’ll need excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as commercial awareness and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
