Junior Business Acceptance Analyst

We are working with a Global Law Firm in Liverpool who are in need of a new Junior Business Acceptance Analyst.

Throughout this role, you will support Senior Compliance professionals with all aspects of new client and matter intake. You’ll be involved in day-to-day tasks relative to client and matter inception processes used within the firm.

We’re ideally looking for someone with experience in conducting CDD and or conflicts analysis within a law firm. Equally, an understanding of commercial conflicts and the SRA’s rules surrounding conflicts of interest would be advantageous but non-essential.

Your responsibilities:

• Oversee CDD checks, ensuring compliance AML Regulations
• Carry out conflict searches, resolving issues where they arise
• Assess new and existing clients/matters’ risk profiles
• Advise firm-wide staff on various AML and conflicts queries
• Create and maintain information barriers, escalating issues where appropriate
• Conduct research relative to the CDD process, using databases to verify information
• Contribute to ad-hoc firm-wide projects

We’re looking for someone who puts clients first, communicates well, and can handle pressure while working independently. They should be highly organised, meet deadlines with ease, and have experience managing their time and leading others effectively. A natural problem-solver, who will bring focus and leadership to any team is the ideal candidate for this role
