About the Role

We are working with a multidisciplinary law firm to hire a Regulatory Analyst in London. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for client, matter, and supplier onboarding, working within a unique environment that combines legal, intelligence, and security expertise to protect high-profile reputations.

The firm is looking for a professional with at least three years of experience in a risk, compliance, or audit function within a regulated law firm who is ready to help shape their evolving KYC and AML policies.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end client onboarding process, including conducting due diligence, risk checks, and initial assessments for new opportunities.
  • Reviewing and updating the firm’s AML risk assessments and conducting thorough source of funds verifications.
  • Monitoring international sanctions lists daily and ensuring all matter opening risk assessments are complete.
  • Managing the supplier onboarding journey by liaising with third parties and reviewing contractual agreements and confidentiality terms.
  • Conducting regular high-risk matter reviews and file audits to provide mitigation advice to specialist teams.
  • Assisting with the delivery of firm-wide training to promote awareness of internal controls and best practices.
  • Updating the firm’s regulatory profiles and drafting responses to information requests from third parties and insurers.
  • Collaborating on technical projects to improve compliance systems, including the management of due diligence software and CRM risk flags.

They are looking for candidates with an unflappable nature and the confidence to manage stakeholder expectations across a diverse, multidisciplinary business. You should possess excellent negotiation skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving, with a genuine interest in resolving process inefficiencies.

If you are a proactive team player looking to progress your career at the intersection of law and private intelligence, we want to hear from you. Please apply today to join this world-class team.
