About the Role

We are working with a leading international law firm in London to recruit a Risk Analyst to join their growing Risk & Compliance team in London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the firm’s risk strategy, working on a broad range of matters that directly support the business and its internal stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to contribute to the ongoing development of a forward-thinking department.

The firm is seeking an individual with a solid foundation in risk and compliance, ideally with experience working in a legal or professional services environment. A good working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and other relevant regulatory frameworks is required, along with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Advising internal clients on risk queries relating to regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and anti-bribery matters
  •  Reviewing and advising on client terms and engagement letters in collaboration with Contract Lawyers
  • Assisting in resolving complex conflicts in partnership with senior management
  • Contributing to internal risk assessments, audits, and investigations
  • Supporting data protection activities including data breaches and subject access requests
  • Participating in risk projects and managing smaller risk-related initiatives
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of training sessions and knowledge sharing across the firm
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments to inform policy and procedure updates
  • Supporting the management of the team inbox, responding to queries promptly and managing stakeholder expectations
