Compliance Analyst

We are working with a highly regarded commercial law firm to appoint a Compliance Analyst on a remote basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the firm across a broad range of compliance and risk matters. This is a primarily remote opportunity, with office attendance required only once a month at most.

The firm is looking for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in law firm compliance who has a sound understanding of SRA requirements, AML and counter-terrorist financing, GDPR, and client onboarding processes.

The responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with compliance and risk-related queries, working closely with teams across the business including accounts and support functions
• Reviewing AML compliance and handling queries such as background checks and client/matter risk assessments
• Supporting risk and compliance training, including inductions for new joiners
• Contributing to the delivery of compliance projects
• Assisting with file audits and initial investigations
• Maintaining and updating registers
• Providing administrative support for compliance management

They are seeking candidates with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance day-to-day work alongside longer term projects.
