About the Role

We are recruiting for a Conflicts Manager to join a growing Risk and Compliance team in an elevated International law firm. In this role, you'll work closely with the COLP and Conflicts team to ensure smooth and efficient conflict management processes across the business. You will support the broader leadership team on strategic initiatives, providing expert advice and ensuring the firm adheres to the highest standards of legal and ethical practices. As the firm expands, your role will evolve to support growing risk functions.

We’re looking for someone with significant experience in conflicts management, preferably within a law firm environment, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and resolving high-risk conflict queries and acting as an escalation point for the Conflicts Advisors and Analyst team.
  • Leading the training and development of the Conflicts team, ensuring the team is well-equipped to handle new business and client onboarding processes.
  • Collaborating closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing expert advice on conflicts, regulatory compliance, and ethics.
  • Ensuring that all conflicts are handled accurately and in compliance with the firm's processes and KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Reviewing and helping implement policies related to conflicts and assisting with lateral hires and growth initiatives.
  • Managing and developing the Conflicts Analyst team, helping them to deliver the highest standards of service to the firm.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of conflict-related legislation and ensuring consistent practices across the business.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a proactive, solutions-driven approach to problem-solving. Experience with Intapp (or a similar system) is essential, as well as a solid understanding of relevant regulatory issues, such as the SRA Code of Conduct.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team in a firm that's evolving rapidly. If you have the experience and the drive to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.

If interested, please submit your application for our consideration. Thank you.
