The position reports to the Conflicts Manager and operates on a 2:30pm-10:30pm schedule, supporting a global team and providing valuable guidance on complex issues.

The firm is seeking someone with over four years’ experience in a conflicts role within a law firm environment. You’ll bring strong analytical capabilities, a confident approach to decision-making, and a genuine interest in understanding the commercial context of the business.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on complex conflicts queries and supporting analysts in challenging scenarios
  • Delivering training for new team members and broader firm induction sessions
  • Reviewing and validating matter intake information and conducting database searches
  • Analysing conflicts search results and identifying potential business acceptance risks
  • Liaising with fee earners to clarify information and address potential conflicts
  • Escalating high-risk situations to the Conflicts Manager for review
  • Supporting the maintenance of internal systems, including information barriers
  • Assisting with ad-hoc research, waiver reviews, and ongoing education around conflicts processes

They are looking for candidates with excellent research and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should be confident communicating across all levels of the firm and comfortable adapting to evolving processes and technologies.
