Senior Risk Lawyer

We’re recruiting for a Senior Risk Lawyer at an accomplished International Law Firm in London.

In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, offering strategic legal advice and ensuring the firm navigates an evolving regulatory landscape effectively. You’ll lead key compliance initiatives, shaping policies, and mentoring junior team members while having a clear path for further growth.

We’re looking for a qualified, seasoned professional with significant experience in risk and compliance, ideally from a law firm or regulator.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading on legal risk, regulatory compliance, and financial crime matters
• Managing complex commercial and client-related contracts
• Acting as a key advisor on data protection issues
• Anticipating regulatory changes and implementing firm-wide updates
• Designing and delivering high-level training on compliance and risk management
• Supporting, mentoring, and potentially managing junior team members

This role requires a confident communicator with strong analytical skills, exceptional drafting ability, and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders. You’ll need to be highly organised, commercially minded, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
