If so, our client - an international law firm - is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their growing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Team Leader in ensuring that the firm establishes - and maintains - effective Anti-Financial Crime compliance policies, helping the business comply with and detect violations of relevant AML regulations.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

• Assisting with the review of new business/clients to identify any high-risk indicators, as well as ongoing CDD
• Advising and providing ongoing support to compliance analysts, where necessary
• Where high-risk indicators are identified, ensuring that EDD procedures are followed and escalating the matter in accordance with internal procedures
• Advise on KYC-related queries from fee-earners, clients and/or the international compliance team
• Ensuring that internal systems are updated accurately
• Identifying and reporting non-compliant clients to the Team Leader, ensuring that steps are taken to remediate outstanding KYC information in a timely manner

To be considered for the role you will need some or all of the following competencies:

• 5+ years relevant experience within a law firm setting, with compliance experience including CDD/AML
• Experience with CRM systems, as well as a high proficiency in MS applications
• Previous working experience in the financial services industry, as well as a recognised qualification in a compliance-related field - or working towards it
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with all levels of senior management and staff
