About the Role
We are working with a top 100 UK law firm to hire a Compliance Administrator in London. In this role, you will act as the central organisational linchpin for the risk and compliance function, taking ownership of vital monitoring processes and ensuring the seamless delivery of internal client services.
The firm is looking for a trusted organiser with extensive experience in managing complex administrative or operational workflows who can maintain high standards of accuracy under pressure. They are looking for candidates with exceptional prioritisation skills and the commercial judgement required to handle sensitive information with total discretion.
The responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for compliance and data protection enquiries, providing initial guidance and triaging requests to legal specialists.
- Managing and reporting on key monitoring processes to ensure consistent adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintaining accurate compliance registers and preparing monthly performance reports for various heads of department.
Assisting with the coordination and execution of the annual quality assurance audit programme. - Facilitating and chairing internal team meetings and coordinating firm-wide networks of compliance champions.
- Managing team learning and development opportunities and supporting the rollout of new technology solutions.
- Drafting and coordinating internal communications, articles, and guidance to promote a strong compliance culture.
- Conducting research and providing high-level administrative support to the Director and senior compliance lawyers.
