Compliance Analyst

We are working with a commercial law firm to hire a Compliance Assistant to join their growing national team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the firm’s risk and compliance function, helping to deliver high standards of regulatory compliance and service to the firm's network of consultant lawyers. You’ll work closely with the Director of Risk & Compliance and collaborate with other business functions.

The firm is looking for someone with at least one to two years’ experience in a law firm compliance role, with a solid understanding of SRA requirements, AML regulations, GDPR, and client onboarding processes.

The responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with the resolution of compliance and risk-related queries
• Supporting AML checks and client/matter risk assessments
• Helping to deliver risk and compliance training, including inductions for new staff
• Assisting with compliance projects and initiatives
• Supporting file audits, investigations, and maintaining compliance registers
• Carrying out administrative tasks related to compliance management

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused, and a strong communicator who can build effective working relationships across teams. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic and growing environment.
