Conflicts Specialist

We are working with a leading international law firm to hire a Conflicts Advisor for their London office. In this role, you’ll be part of a global team ensuring that all new clients and matters are accepted in line with the firm’s risk management procedures. You’ll provide essential support on conflict checks, information barriers, and wider risk assessments across multiple jurisdictions.

The firm is looking for someone with a law degree or LPC and at least a year of experience in conflicts or risk management within a law firm or professional services environment.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and the chance to take real ownership, including:

• Handling escalations and supporting junior team members.
• Conducting conflicts checks, analysis, and resolution across legal and commercial matters, and completing the end-to-end process of conflicts of interest checks
• Advising lawyers directly on conflicts processes and policies.
• Supporting the wider firm on risk, sanctions, financial crime, and commercial conflicts.

You’ll also sit above the Conflict Analysts/lawyers, acting as a key point of contact for all conflict queries and the wider function. The position provides excellent international exposure and a clear step forward in developing your compliance career.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-focused and commercially aware, with excellent communication skills, strong judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
