We're looking for a Senior AML Officer in London to join a leading business services firm with accountancy and legal arms. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing client onboarding and ensuring compliance with evolving AML regulations.

As a Senior AML Officer, you will oversee the onboarding procedures for new and existing clients, ensuring high standards of compliance are upheld and processes are executed smoothly. You will act as a key point of escalation for a medium-sized team, addressing due diligence queries and requirements, and working closely with client-facing managers.

An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Ensure client onboarding processes align with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Oversee and assist with complex client structures and due diligence.
  • Supervise and support the team, offering guidance on workload management and technical queries.
  • Conduct quality control checks on team outputs.
  • Act as a point of escalation for client-facing teams on AML matters.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance and grow the KYC function.

We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in accounting or a related professional services organisation. The ideal individual will possess a comprehensive understanding of AML regulations and demonstrate the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, showcasing strong time management skills.

Experience in managing teams is essential, along with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Office, is also required.
