We are working with a leading full-service law firm to hire a Compliance Administrator to join their team in Southampton and work to support its compliance function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a compliance team in completing AML reviews of existing customers, assessing client risk and escalating to senior compliance and management where necessary, and assisting (when required) with compliance tasks such as onboarding, to ensure that the firm meets its regulatory obligations.

To that effect, the key duties of this role include:

  • Reviewing and updating CDD already held by the firm
  • Using independent intelligence databases to undertake open-source searches for all relevant parties to a matter
  • Accurately updating the firm’s data management systems to allow for ongoing sanctions screening
  • Liaising with members of the firm, as well as its clients, to obtain updated CDD where necessary
  • Maintaining the firm’s electronic filing system, including the central database for the storing of CDD

To apply for this role you should have some or all of the following competencies:

  • Ideally, 2+ years’ relevant experience within a law firm setting, with previous compliance experience including CDD/AML 
  • Experience using Viewpoint and or InTapp (beneficial)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications - particularly Excel and Word
